Latest News & Dates

Welcome back for the 2nd Autumn Half-Term. We have a very busy half-term ahead of us, with lots more learning to do and fun to be had! Please check in on our class page regularly for further updates and new items. We are aiming for fantastic attendance in Year 4 so please ensure your child is in school every day :-)


Tuesday 31st October -  Autumn Term 2 - school reopens - 8:50am

Wednesday 8th November - Cinema Trip @ 9:00am-11:30am

Wednesday 8th November - KS2 Pantomime Disco @ 3pm-4:15pm

Thursday 9th November - Book fair arrives in school

Week commencing 13th November - UK Parliament week & Anti-bullying week

Wednesday 15th November - Parents' afternoon/evening

Wednesday 6th December - PTFA Christmas Fair

Thursday 21st December - Christmas Dinner

Friday 22nd December - KS2 Rewards Assembly - 10:30am

Friday 22nd December - End of Autumn Term - school closes




PE days - TUESDAY and FRIDAY - Please ensure your child has a full PE kit in school - white polo shirt, black/navy shorts & black school pumps. For outdoors PE sessions, your child can bring a pair of jogging bottoms and a pair of trainers. Earrings must be removed and long hair tied back.


HOMEWORK - Autumn Term 2 'unhomework' is due in by FRIDAY 15th DECEMBER 2017


SPELLINGS - your child has been given the spelling list for the full half-term. A new spelling list will also be given out every week. Please help your child to learn their weekly spellings. They will be tested each Friday.



READING BOOKS - these must be brought into school every day, along with your child's reading record - with added comments and signed - as there may be opportunities for children to read to an adult during the day. Books will be changed whenever possible.
