Welcome back for the 1st Spring Half-Term. We have a very busy half-term ahead of us, with lots more learning to do and fun to be had! Please check in on our class page regularly for further updates and new items. We are aiming for fantastic punctuality and attendance in Year 4 so please ensure your child is in school, on time, every day :-)
Monday 8th January - Spring Term 1- school reopens - 8:50am
Thursday 11th January - School Mass in church - 9:30am - all welcome to join us there
Friday 19th January - Y4 & Y1 reading Café - school hall - 2:30pm
Friday 26th January - Class Assembly - 2:30pm
Tuesday 6th February - Safer Internet Day
Friday 9th February - Pyjama day - proceeds for CAFOD
Friday 9th February - School closes - End of 1st half-term - 3:00pm
Monday 19th February - Spring Term 2 - school reopens - 8:50am
Monday 19th & Tuesday 20th February - Life Education Caravan
Wednesday 7th March - Parents' Evening
Thursday 29th March - End of Spring Term - school closes - 1:30pm
PE days - TUESDAY - Please ensure your child has a full PE kit in school - white polo shirt, black/navy shorts & black school pumps. Earrings must be removed and long hair tied back.
SWIMMING - FRIDAYS - All children are expected to go into the water for their swimming lesson unless a letter is sent into school explaining why they can't. A letter has been sent home regarding swimwear.
HOMEWORK - Spring Term 'unhomework' is due in by FRIDAY 23rd MARCH 2018
SPELLINGS - your child has been given the spelling list for the full half-term. A new spelling list will also be given out every week. Please help your child to learn their weekly spellings. They will be tested each Friday.
READING BOOKS - these must be brought into school every day, along with your child's reading record - with added comments and signed - as there may be opportunities for children to read to an adult during the day. Books will be changed whenever possible.
