Welcome back for the 1st Autumn Half-Term. Hope you all had a great Summer break. We have a very busy half-term ahead of us, with lots more learning to do and fun to be had! Please check in on our class page regularly for further updates and new items. We are aiming for fantastic attendance in Year 4 so please ensure your child is in school every day :-)


Tuesday 5th September - Autumn Term 1 - school opens at 8:50

Monday 11th September - PTFA meeting - all parents welcome

Friday 22nd September - KS2 Reward Assembly

Thursday 28th September - National Poetry Day

Friday 6th October - Year 6 Class Assembly - 2:30pm

Saturday 7th October - Feast of the Holy Rosary

Friday 13th October - KS2 Reward Assembly

Thursday 19th October - Movie Night

Friday 20th October - Break up for Half-Term - 3pm

Tuesday 31st October -  Autumn Term 2 - school reopens - 8:50am

Wednesday 20th December - Christmas Dinner

Friday 22nd December - KS2 Rewards Assembly - 10:30am

Friday 22nd December - End of Autumn Term - school closes




PE days - TUESDAY and THURSDAY - Please ensure your child has a full PE kit in school - white polo shirt, black/navy shorts & black school pumps. For outdoors PE sessions, your child can bring a pair of jogging bottoms and a pair of trainers. Earrings must be removed and long hair tied back.


HOMEWORK - Autumn Term 1 'unhomework' is due in by FRIDAY 13th OCTOBER 2017


SPELLINGS - a new spelling list will be given out every week. Please help your child to learn their weekly spellings. They will be tested each Thursday.



READING BOOKS - these must be brought into school every day, along with your child's reading record - with added comments and signed - as there may be opportunities for children to read to an adult during the day. Books will be changed whenever possible.
