This week our Faith Team led the whole school in a moment of prayer and reflection for Remembrance Day. Together as a school, we paused to remember all those who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom.
The children also shared the symbolism of the poppy wreath — a powerful reminder of hope, courage and the promise that we will never forget.
“At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.”

On Monday, the 23rd of June, we hosted our annual art exhibition. The theme of this year's exhibition was pilgrims of Hope. The children had been inspired by work from other artists who would represented hope in someway. As I'm sure you will agree, the children's art work was incredible and during the day the children were able to visit the Exhibition as a class and look at everyone's work. This was a real celebration of everything creative!

On Harry Potter day, the children arrived at school all dressed up and had made a fantastic effort! There was a real buzz about school and the children were excited to experience the game of Quidditch. The children had been selected by the sorting hat to be in one of the four Harry Potter houses. Each child was given a badge to show everybody which house they were in.
During the day they got chance to take part another activities such as spell making, creatijng their own wands and even had time to be creative.

At Holy Rosary Rc Primary, we had an inspiring Nobody Like Me celebration during our Rock Star Kids Fun Day! 🎉 This special event was all about recognising the unique qualities that make each child truly one of a kind. Through engaging activities, songs, and team challenges, our children boosted their self-esteem and celebrated their individuality with great enthusiasm.
We believe that fostering confidence and a sense of belonging is key to every child's growth, and this was a wonderful reminder of that.
What a great experience!
